How do you roast sunflower seeds? I dried the heads and the seeds are tasty, but I like them better roasted. Can anyone tell me how to do it?

My aunt simply roasts them in a dry skillet. I haven't tried it yet (I'm always a bit nervous about cooking stuff in a dry skillet, but I know than if I put some oil in it the result won't be the same), but I'm sure it works as well as she says. My boyfriend and I do them on a cookie sheet (or a piece of foil) in a toaster oven, watching carefully so that we don't overcook them. You could also do it in the oven.
I hope you find a way that works well for you and gives you tasty roasted sunflower seeds!
