Trampled by Geese is a reminder to myself to look at the positive side of life and to endeavour to only write about things that inspire me rather than focus on what is negative in the world. Kirkegaard once wrote, “Being trampled by geese is a slow way of dying, but being eaten to death by envy and greed is even slower and more painful”.

SAORI fabric
This Christmas holiday, I treated myself to some Saori style weaving.
I have high hopes that this will become a skirt.
The weft is linen, the warp is a mixture of handspun lace weight and sock weight yarn, with some bits of fibre and thrums.
We are always looking for more knitting patterns, so if you have any you would like us to link to, please pass them along. We also use our projects in newsletters and eBooks.

That fabric looks stunning, and I look forward to seeing whatever you choose to make with it (be it a skirt or something else).
I'm glad you had a merry Christmas, and I wish you many more to come!
What a beautiful fabric! It will make a gorgeous skirt.
