I'm going to try my first master study.
The composition of this picture looks simple enough. And if it turns out, I would love to hang it on my wall.
I figure master studies would be a good way to discover what style I want to paint.
The thing is, this is from near the end of Van Gogh's life and his early stuff was quite complex. So is this really as simple as it looks?
