Trampled by Geese is a reminder to myself to look at the positive side of life and to endeavour to only write about things that inspire me rather than focus on what is negative in the world. Kirkegaard once wrote, “Being trampled by geese is a slow way of dying, but being eaten to death by envy and greed is even slower and more painful”.
Yep, I know the photo's huge. I can't figure out what blogger is doing with this but even if I ask it to be smallest size, it still turns out this big.
Pam, that's awesome. Please let my readers know where they can find a copy of your pattern. I had the hardest time locating one back when I knit this.
The body for my cozy was heavily inspired by the 8 ball tea cozy pattern in Debbie Stoller's Stitch and Bitch book. I had to do a bit of trial and error to make it fit that teapot though.
Feel free to have a look at the original pattern if you would like to learn more as to the elephant backstory: http://trampledbygeesepatterns.blogspot.ca/2007/05/elephant-tea-cozy.html

I'm not going to stress over it.
How fun to see your work translated! Congratulations!
Very please to know you like my translation. The pattern is funny and easy do make and was very easy to translate.
That's so cute!
How would you change it for a two cup tea pot?
I designed an elephant tea cosy pattern (copyright 1970 which has been renewed) with the exception that mine has a knitted trunk its almost identical!
